How your data is handled

This site is a set of static files. There is no database, no account system, and no server that receives the project brief. Everything below describes what that means in practice.

What the brief asks for

The form on the brief page asks for a name, an email address, a Telegram or Discord handle, a channel or brand name, a niche, a deadline, a link to your channel or video, reference notes, and — if you enable it — three thumbnail directions. Three answers are required: your name, how many thumbnails you need, and what the thumbnail should convey. Every other field can stay empty.

Where it goes

Nothing is submitted anywhere automatically. When you finish the form, the answers are assembled into a plain text message inside your own browser and copied to your clipboard, and you choose how to send it:

• WhatsApp — the message opens prefilled in WhatsApp; it travels through WhatsApp, under their terms.
• Telegram — the chat opens and you paste the message yourself; Telegram links cannot carry prefilled text.
• Copy the brief — puts the text on your clipboard and does nothing else. No third service is involved at all; where it goes next is entirely your choice.

If you close the page without choosing one of these, the answers are not sent to anyone. There is no copy on the server, because there is no server-side code to make one.

What is stored in your browser

• An unfinished brief is kept in your browser's local storage under khlopyev-brief-draft-v1, so a closed tab does not lose your work. The Clear draft button on the brief page removes it, and so does clearing site data in your browser.
• Your language choice is kept the same way, so the site opens in the language you picked.

Both live only in your browser, on your device. They are never transmitted anywhere, and no one but you can read them.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Yandex Metrica to count visits and see which parts of the page people actually reach. It sets its own cookies, records an anonymised replay of the session, and sends that to Yandex. It does not read what you type into the brief — those answers stay in your browser until you send them yourself. There is no advertising on the site and nothing here is used to target ads.

To opt out, use Yandex's own blocker, or block mc.yandex.ru in your browser. The rest of the page works either way.

What the server and third parties see

• The web server keeps a standard access log — IP address, time, requested address, browser identification. It is what any web server records in order to run, and it is not linked to the brief.
• Yandex Metrica, described above, receives the pages you open, your IP address, and the session replay.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser contacts Google directly for them, so Google sees your IP address and the page you are on. No other outside service is contacted.
• Buttons to WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, X, and YTJobs are ordinary links. Nothing is shared with those services until you click one.

How long anything is kept

Briefs that reach me arrive as messages in WhatsApp or Telegram, and stay in that correspondence. If you want a conversation and the material in it deleted, ask and it will be.
